The Good News – A House Divided cannot Stand

And it came to be, afterward, that He went through every city and village, proclaiming and bringing the Good News of the reign of Elohim, and the twelve were with Him, and certain women who were healed of wicked spirits and sicknesses:
Miryam, called ‘from Magdala,’ out of whom had come seven demons, and Yochanah the wife of Kuza, manager of Herodes, and Shoshannah, and many others who provided for Him from their resources.
And they went into a house, and again the crowd came together, so that they were unable even to eat bread. And when His relatives heard about this, they went out to seize Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.”
Then they brought to Him one who was demon-possessed, blind and dumb. And He healed him, so that the blind and dumb man both spoke and saw. And all the crowds were amazed and said, “Is this the Son of Dawid?”
But when the Pharisees and the scribes who came down from Yerushalayim heard it they said, “This one does not cast out demons except by Be’elzebul, the ruler of the demons.”
And Yahushua knew their thoughts, and calling them near He said to them in parables, “How is Satan able to cast out Satan?”
“Every reign divided against itself is laid waste, and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand. And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then does his reign stand? “And if I, by Be’elzebul, do cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? Because of this they shall be your judges. But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of Elohim, then the reign of Elohim has come upon you.”
“When a strong man, who is armed, keeps his palace, his goods are at shalom.”
“But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armour in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.”
“He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad. Because of this I say to you, all sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven men.  And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Adam, it shall be forgiven him, but whoever speaks against the Set-apart Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.”

This portion of the Chronological Order of the Good News comes to us from Mattityahu (Matthew) 12:22-30 & Luços (Luke)11:14-23. Early on in this portion we see an interesting Hebrew word for this study – Magdala, or one from Magaden.
It is derived from the Hebrew word “migdol” מִגְדּוֹל (H4024 -mig·dōl)  which means “elegant, great, or tower,” and is derived from the primitive root word “gadal” גָּדַל (H1431 – gaw-dal) meaning “to grow up, to become great, and/or to magnify.” The township or nick name, whichever the case may be, serves Miriam well because we see her grow from a filthy, physically and spiritually defiled being into a righteous and faithful follower of the Master Yahushua the Messiah.
Messiah is preaching on a principle he has previously spoken on in Mattityahu 6:24 –
Mattityahu (Matthew) 6:24“No one is able to serve two masters, for either he shall hate the one and love the other, or else he shall cleave to the one and despise the other.”
How can one who preaches the Kingdom Of Yahweh further the Kingdom of the “Ruler of the Authority of the Air” (Eph 2:2- a.k.a Satan)? That is the false charges which the Pharisees and Scribes tried to levy against the Messiah, charging him with casting out demons in the name of the ruler of the demons (which is just another name for “the bad guy”).  What good would any principality or power do to divide itself in two! Anything at enmity with itself will certainly be conflicted or destroy itself, hence the Messiah’s treatise on this subject.
We then get a clear boundary as to how far you can be divided against the Father before you are cut off forever – do not curse the Ruach HaKodesh (Set-apart/Holy Spirit). It is the giver of life and guide on the paths of righteousness, to curse this gift from Yahweh is to reject Him completely.
In closing, I would like to challenge you to become as fervent and ardent as Miriam, grow in faith and love like a strong tower. Do not be lead astray by serving light and darkness, the Father and the Adversary, double mindness only leads to death and falling short of the true purpose of your life. Cling to the Messiah in all things and give all esteem and honor to Yahweh our Elohim. May His Ruach give you life, wisdom, and the expectation of the Kingdom to come. Shalom Aleichem!
