It’s like wrapping yourself in a warm blanket, something soft and comfy, a barrier to cold, cruel/harsh environment. It’s also like a 12 foot privacy wall to block out prying eyes. It’s a flick of a tongue, to be honest, so seemingly simple and innocent that the brain hardly registers it.
What is IT? If you said an “EXCUSE” (ding, ding, ding, show ’em what they’ve won Johnny) you’re right!
Excuses have become one of the number one barriers between us and worshipping our Father in “spirit and truth” (Jhn 4:23-24) as He calls us to. When our “Flesh” calls us to “ride the fence, settle for second best, etc.,” (add your favorite cliché here) will you stand up for righteousness or give-in to that which separates us from the greatest love there is?
Here is my challenge to you: Instead of making some silly “resolution” that you’ll break in the next couple of days, weeks or months, focus on being a better servant of the Most High! Seek first the Kingdom of Yahweh, and His Righteousness, And all these things shall be added unto you! Halle-lu, Halleluyah! (Mat 6:33)
Many Blessings to you in this secular new year. May our Loving Father open the eyes, ears, and hearts of His people, and lead us all to righteousness.
Shalom Aleichem! (My Wholeness, completeness, Joy and peace be with you)
